- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, occasional weekend availability
About the Service:
This is a specialist in-patient service focused on neurorehabilitation. The team provides expert care for individuals with a variety of neurological conditions, including acquired brain injuries, strokes, and complex cases.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of neurological patients, delivering specialist occupational therapy services.
- Develop and facilitate individual and group treatment programmes to support rehabilitation.
- Provide comprehensive assessments, implement treatment plans, and evaluate progress.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, families, and carers to ensure holistic, person-centred care.
- Supervise and provide training to junior Occupational Therapists and therapy assistants.
- Assess, recommend, and provide equipment to improve quality of life, ensuring safety and proper usage.
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience working in a neurological setting is desirable but not essential.
