Job Title: Senior Contract Operations Analyst - Renewable Energy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Operations Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our contracts and agreements.

About the Role

The Senior Contract Operations Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Managing daily business operations, including end-to-end contract management, balance settlement, contract settlement, invoicing, and payments.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to establish reliable interfaces and ensure seamless communication.
  • Communicating complex operational topics to various levels of stakeholders, ensuring transparency and continuity.
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation, either leading efforts or coordinating with IT departments.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation for business processes, ensuring easy access and understanding.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-level qualification in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in a similar operations-focused position or unit.
  • Proven experience in the UK energy sector, with a strong understanding of flexibility markets, balancing services, PPAs, or retail markets.
  • Solid knowledge of contract management, market communication, settlement, and invoicing processes within energy portfolios.
  • Experience with SQL, with the ability to create reports, extract, and analyze data; Python or other scripting languages are a plus.
  • Familiarity with energy management data systems.
  • Strong communication skills in English (mandatory).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and collaboration.
