Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, with a focus on new business sales targets. This includes Corporate Membership and Sponsorship, Corporate Education, as well as Events and Research Sponsorships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Opportunities: Identify and pursue sales opportunities through inbound inquiries, networking, and CRM.
  • Customer Meetings: Organize and facilitate meetings with potential customers, understand their organizational needs, and identify the most suitable corporate solution.
  • CRM Management: Proficiently use CRM for managing and tracking leads and opportunities.
  • Renewal Tracking: Monitor renewals and minimize the lapsing of corporate members and sponsors.
  • Reporting: Provide monthly reports to the sales and marketing manager.
  • Re-engagement: Reach out to lapsed corporate members and sponsors to renew their memberships and/or sponsorships and identify opportunities for upselling.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing, Learning, and Membership teams to maximize corporate sales and liaise with the Finance team to ensure adherence to the correct invoicing process.

  • Account Management Experience: Proven track record in managing client accounts effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and impactful messages.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Adept at interacting with a diverse range of individuals, across different countries and organizational levels.
  • Collaboration Skills: Capable of fostering a collaborative environment within the sales team and across the organization.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, ensuring work is conducted in a productive and efficient manner.
  • Process Driven: Sees the value in a systematic and consistent approach to work, and leverages this to drive productivity and results.
  • Target Orientation: Goal-driven, with a proven ability to meet and surpass targets.
  • IT Skills: Excellent proficiency in IT tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to processes.
  • Proactivity and Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Empathy: Possesses the ability to empathize with others, understanding and sharing their feelings.
