Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our dynamic team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and supporting patients with cardiac conditions, including myocardial infarction, cardiac surgery, coronary angioplasty, and heart failure.
  • Facilitating outpatient exercise and information programs at Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, and community sites.
  • Conducting clinical consultations and collecting data using the NACR database for cardiac rehabilitation.
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A registered nursing qualification.
  • Post-registration cardiology qualification (desirable).
  • Current driving license and own transport (essential).
  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values.
  • Cardiology experience (essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
