About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Criticality Consultant to join our team at National Nuclear Laboratory. As a Criticality Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure operation of our facilities and projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide criticality safety advice and assessment for our own activities and for our customers across different licensed sites. You will work closely with our technical teams to develop and implement criticality safety assessments and provide expert advice on criticality safety matters.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of criticality safety principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide criticality safety advice and assessment for our own activities and for our customers

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of criticality safety principles and practices

  • Relevant experience in criticality safety or a related field
