Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to support student progress in education as a Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students, working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality support in lessons.

The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the social, moral, emotional, and academic well-being of individual children. They will have a deep understanding of children's emotions and behaviour, actively seeking to remove barriers to learning. This role requires someone who is patient, cheerful, and understanding, with excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to adapt to daily challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing individualized or small group support to students, as needed.
  • Collaborating with class teachers to develop and implement strategies to support pupils within the classroom environment.
  • Preparing educational activities and resources in consultation with the class teacher and SENDCo.
  • Effective communication with children, team members, and the wider community is essential.
What We Offer

A competitive salary range of £24,907 - £30,015 per annum, depending on experience.
