IT Business Analyst Opportunity

Pontoon is seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join their team. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between IT and the business, ensuring technology solutions align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and systems, gathering and validating requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT development.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and align with strategic goals.
  • Develop process models and workflows to support system implementations.
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions for process improvements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, process flows, and user manuals.
  • Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure quality solutions.
  • Provide support during implementation and post-implementation phases.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user training materials.

Requirements:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, systems analysis, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus.
