About the Job

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead and oversee health, safety, and environmental practices across our clients' renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE policies, procedures, and standards in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and standards in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Establish and communicate a clear HSE strategy across all departments.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, standards, and certifications through regular audits and inspections.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimise workplace hazards.

The salary for this role is up to £50,000, plus car allowance and benefits, including company bonus up to 25%.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, supported by relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001).
  • Proven experience in an HSE management role within the renewable energy, construction, or a related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards specific to commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and oversee effective HSE strategies across diverse project phases.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication abilities, with the skill to influence and engage effectively at all levels. A proactive, analytical mindset, adept at identifying and solving complex problems, is also essential.
