Job Summary:
  Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading Industrial Services company seeking skilled Workshop Fitters (HGV & Plant) to join their team at the Scunthorpe depot.

The selected candidates will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of up to 30 machines and vehicles, including Disab machines, high-pressure water jetting equipment, HGVs, and commercial vans. The position requires excellent technical skills and experience in vehicle inspections, servicing, and maintenance, as well as the ability to work safely and efficiently.

  Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle inspections
  • General servicing and pre-planned maintenance
  • Reactive maintenance as required
  • MOT preparation/Presentation
  • Correction of running defects

  Requirements:
  To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds/NVQ qualifications
  • Ability to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Auto Electrical, Welding, and tail lift maintenance experience beneficial but not essential
  • A Commercial vehicle driving licence advantageous for this role
