Salary: £13.57 per hour (circa £26,000 per annum)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Lakeland Limited. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage a Team: You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of colleagues to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Customer Service: You will be the face of Lakeland and will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our customers.
  • Sales and Operations: You will be responsible for managing the sales floor, including merchandising, stock management, and visual merchandising.
  • Training and Development: You will be responsible for training and developing your team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Performance Management: You will be responsible for managing the performance of your team, including setting goals and objectives, providing feedback, and coaching and developing your team members.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: You will have previous experience in a retail management role, with a proven track record of delivering sales growth and exceptional customer service.
  • Leadership Skills: You will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their goals.
  • Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You will have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • IT Skills: You will have intermediate IT skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Office and other retail systems.
