SRM Recruitment is assisting a reputable London headquartered M&A Insurance Underwriter in their search for an experienced US qualified Tax specialist with strong M&A experience to join their team as a Tax Insurance Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling the entire underwriting process, with a focus on the US, including confidentiality agreements, non-binding indications, policy drafting, contract negotiation, and underwriting requests.
  • Issuance of policy documents.
  • Establishment and development of international broker and customer relationships.
  • Building relationships with law firms in different jurisdictions.

Requirements:

  • A US qualified tax specialist with either a legal or CPA qualification.
  • Ideal qualifications include a degree in law, commercial law, business administration, or a relevant M&A environment, such as Corporate finance in the Big 4 or Banking.
  • Strong customer orientation, decision-making power, and persuasiveness, as well as high motivation and resilience.
  • Proven team skills, a high sense of responsibility, and adaptability when dealing with technical issues.
