Senior M&A Tax Lawyer/Underwriter

SRM Recruitment has been retained by a reputable, European-headquartered M&A insurance underwriter to recruit an experienced Tax Lawyer with strong M&A experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling the entire underwriting process, focusing on UK and Continental Europe, including confidentiality agreements, policy drafting, and underwriting requests.
  • Issuing policy documents and establishing relationships with international brokers and customers.
  • Developing relationships with law firms in different jurisdictions.

Requirements:

  • A degree in law, commercial law, or business administration, or relevant M&A experience.
  • UK qualification required due to the jurisdictional focus of the role.
  • Strong customer orientation, decision-making power, and persuasiveness, with high motivation and resilience.
  • Proven team skills, responsibility, and adaptability in dealing with technical issues.
