Job Title: Day Support Worker

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Wage and Hours:

  • £11.44 per hour for day shifts
  • Shifts are scheduled on a six-week rolling program.
  • Position includes 3 days: 2 days 8.30am - 4.30pm and 1 day 2pm - 10pm

Contract: Permanent

Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in a Bournemouth-based residential addiction recovery setting. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and guidance to individuals in their recovery journey, promoting independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and programs that promote recovery and well-being
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a residential addiction recovery setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassion and empathy for individuals in recovery
