Job Description

Job Title: Day Support Worker

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Wage and Hours:

  • £11.44 per hour for day shifts
  • Shifts are scheduled on a six-week rolling program.
  • Position includes 3 days: 2 days 8.30am - 4.30pm and 1 day 2pm - 10pm

Contract: Permanent

Role Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in a Bournemouth-based residential addiction recovery setting. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients to provide support and guidance, promoting independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to clients, addressing their unique needs and goals
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management
  • Facilitate group activities and workshops, promoting socialization and skill-building
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in a support worker role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
