About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Senior Support Worker to join our team at Thera Trust. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with a learning disability, working closely with the Senior Management Team to develop support plans and set goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing support plans and setting goals and objectives for individuals with a learning disability
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Management Team to ensure the overall health and safety of service users
  • Mentor and support a team of Support Workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care
  • Use a person-centred approach to support individuals with a learning disability to achieve their personal goals and aspirations
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management
  • Encourage and support individuals to engage in leisure activities, develop new skills, and pursue their interests
