Transport Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Administrator to join our team at JRL Group Ltd. As a key member of our transport department, you will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and compliance documentation.
  • Process defect reports and ensure all vehicles are repaired or replaced as necessary.
  • Coordinate with depots to ensure all vehicles and trailers are inspected on a 6-weekly basis and have valid MOTs.
  • Verify LOLER certificates and tachograph calibration certificates for all vehicles with lifts and tachographs.
  • Update systems to reflect changes in vehicle information, including costings and on-hire dates.
  • Generate fleet-related purchase orders for leasing costs and damages.
  • Ensure all vehicles have valid fuel cards linked to the correct cost centers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a busy transport or waste organization.
  • Knowledge of FORS (Forum for the Exchange of Specialist Knowledge) and ability to apply this knowledge in a compliance administration role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
