Capital Programme Planning Assurance Specialist

Network Rail is a leading organization in the rail industry, and we're seeking a skilled Planning Assurance Analyst to join our team. As a Planning Assurance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. Your primary responsibility will be to support the business in planning and delivering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Planning Assurance Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring project plans are submitted within agreed timeframes and are in sync with periodic deliverables and Network Rail processes and standards.
- Monitoring project plan key performance milestones and providing periodic progress reports and dashboards.
- Managing data assurance activities, verifying data requirements, undertaking analysis, identifying trends, and reviewing and interpreting analysis.
- Using Acumen FUSE to compile FUSE metrics to report schedule health checks on project plans.
- Maintaining the NR schedule adherence milestones within the Primavera P6 programmes on key projects.
- Working with the NR Portfolio Managers and Supply Chain to ensure good baseline management is in place and providing support for change control processes across projects.
- Organizing periodic meetings with the supply chain/NR project teams to review and discuss FUSE dashboard outputs.
- Providing Planning Assurance support and guidance to the Programme and Portfolio Managers.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant experience in the planning and delivery of construction/engineering projects. You should also have demonstrable skills in initiating and building positive working relationships with customers, their teams, and stakeholders.
