We are seeking a Credit Control Assistant to join our client's organisation in Hedge End. This role involves working closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate credit control and purchase ledger processes.

About the Role:

  • Assist with credit control, ensuring timely collection of payments and resolving any queries or issues that may arise.
  • Process invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and prepare payment runs to ensure accurate financial transactions.
  • Support the finance team in month-end procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and analysis as required.
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives as assigned.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluent in French and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in credit control and purchase ledger, with a solid understanding of financial processes and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, with a proactive and positive attitude.
