Senior Project Manager - Offshore Wind Advisory

CSG Talent is partnering with a global leader in the advisory services industry to add talent to their wind - offshore team. This company has a rich history of innovation, supporting businesses in navigating complex landscapes.

The role involves managing complex technical due diligence and market intelligence assignments for high-profile clients, covering the full project lifecycle. The position requires:

  • Leading client meetings and acting as the primary client interface.
  • Managing complex owners engineering, independent engineering, technical advisory, and market intelligence services.
  • Overseeing technology review, civil and electrical design review, contract review, project scheduling, business case assessment, environmental and permitting review, and site visits.
  • Compiling and completing independent engineering and technical advisory reports.
  • Preparing proposals, managing resources, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Facilitating and leading project status meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying project risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensuring the use of best industry practices.
  • Proactively identifying project needs and implementing solutions.

To be successful, candidates should have:

  • An academic background in Project Management, Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Energy Services or Planning and Consents.
  • A minimum of 4+ years' experience in project management/engineering in the wind industry.
  • A deep understanding of technical due diligence and risk assessment.
  • Experience in the full project lifecycle for wind developments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • A willingness to take on leadership and business development responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work remotely and with global teams.
  • Proficiency in English, with additional language skills being an advantage.
  • A willingness to travel up to 20% within the EMEA region.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
