About the Opportunity

Contribute to world-leading research in neuroscience at The University of Edinburgh, using cutting-edge techniques to investigate brain function and behavior.

This full-time (35 hours per week) post is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in neuroscience, with a competitive salary of £45,600 per annum (£40,247-£47,874). We are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • A PhD in Neuroscience or related field
  • Expertise in single-cell electrophysiology, analytical techniques, and rodent brain slice models
  • Experience in performing intracranial stereotaxic injections in adolescent rats
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
