Senior Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements, providing technical guidance and support to junior team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, including training and development.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services to clients, including identifying and mitigating risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Identify and develop business opportunities, including new audit engagements and client relationships.
- ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
- Previous experience of managing people and leading audit engagements.
- Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
- Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation, and compliance, including anti-money laundering.
- Experience of systems/controls testing, substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts, and disclosures.
- Project Management experience.
