Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our Specialist Rehabilitation Team at the Colman Centre for Specialist Rehabilitation in Norwich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high standards of rehabilitation care to patients with specialist needs.
Main Responsibilities- Assess, Plan, Implement and Evaluate Care
- Initiate the Assessment Process for New Patients
- Provide Care to Patients as Defined by Individualised Care Plans
- Communicate Changes to the Wider Team to Ensure Correct Care is Delivered
- Accurately Document All Stages of the Nursing Process
- Keep Care Plans and Patient Records Up to Date
- Provide a High Standard of Nursing Care to Patients and Evidence This
- Establish Relationships with Patients, Families and Friends to Meet Their Needs
- Involve Patients, Families and Friends in Setting Goals and Evaluating Care
- Act as Patient Advocate and Ensure Patients' Capacity is Assessed
- Support and Develop Other Staff Members to Deliver Care Appropriately
- Act as Practice Supervisor and Support the Learning and Development of Nursing Assistants and Student Nurses
- Contribute to the Rehabilitation Process and Work with Therapy Colleagues to Set Joint Goals
Qualifications
- Essential
- 1st Level Nurse Qualification in Adult Nursing
- Evidence of Recent Update
- Registered General Nurse with UK Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Mentorship/Supervisor Trained or Willingness to Complete This
- Willingness to Take on Link Nurse Role for the Service
- Desirable
- Evidence of Recent Learning and Development Relevant to Tissue Viability, Continence, Diabetes, Care Management, etc.

- Experience of Clinical Supervision
- Commitment to Understanding the Role of Other Disciplines
