Contract Negotiator and Advisor

The Commercial Legal Counsel will play a critical role in supporting the commercial team with the delivery of some of the biggest contracts that MBNL is involved in. This includes reviewing and negotiating statements of work with various suppliers to ensure MBNL has the services it needs to manage infrastructure on telecoms sites across the UK. The successful candidate will also be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts within the IT space, particularly with new providers of industry-leading SaaS products.
Responsibilities:
Advising on the shape, structure, and setup of commercial contracts; Drafting and negotiating necessary documentation with strong attention to detail; Collaborating closely with internal clients and shareholder legal teams to get contracts closed; Managing external counsel; Providing trusted and proactive legal expertise to internal clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Qualified Lawyer (Membership of the Law Society of England and Wales or the Bar Council); 2+ years PQE; Enjoyment of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts; Highly organized, systematic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and pressured environment with tight deadlines; Skilled, confident, hands-on contractual drafting and negotiation skills; Commercial and technical acumen; Willingness to learn and hands-on experience of using technology to assist with contract management.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
