We are seeking a highly skilled AI Voice Automation Solutions Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in crafting seamless voice interactions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom voice solutions tailored to the unique needs of our clients. Your expertise will enable us to deliver scalable and user-friendly voice experiences that drive business value and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on backend engineering using Python. Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and CRM platforms like Salesforce and Zendesk is essential. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Strategic Alliances team to deepen PolyAI's relationships with technology partners and integration providers. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure seamless service delivery. This includes setting up integrations with our technology alliance partners, leading the setup and integration of third-party tools, and acting as a key point of contact in external meetings with enterprise solution architects and product managers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom voice solutions using our low-code platform
  • Set up and integrate third-party tools (Jira, Salesforce, Zendesk, OpenTable, and others) for seamless CRM and service functionality
  • Act as a key point of contact in external meetings with enterprise solution architects and product managers
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop a cohesive and scalable codebase, perform code reviews, and contribute to design documents
  • Ensure optimal system functionality and scalability, including enhancements based on customer feedback and new feature opportunities

**Requirements:**

  • 3+ years programming experience in backend software engineering with strong proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations and APIs, particularly with CRM and support platforms like Genesys, Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar
  • Comfortable working in a customer-facing role, with strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience with one or more cloud services such as AWS, Azure
  • Experience with TypeScript/ JavaScript
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, such as scrum, kanban, and sprints
  • A love of learning and enjoyment in trying new things
  • A background or interest in building conversational agents with low-code platforms
  • Enjoys technical challenges and wants to contribute directly to solutions

**Salary:** We offer a competitive salary of $125,000 per annum, plus benefits.
