This is a senior leadership role within the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy team at St George's Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and rehabilitation of adult inpatients with complex needs.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and treat complex patients with advanced occupational therapy skills
- Lead the operational management of the team, ensuring delivery of high-quality person-centered acute rehabilitation
- Develop and implement evidence-based quality improvement projects
- Participate in the 7-day acute assessment and rehabilitation service across senior health and medical wards

Requirements- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Experience of working in acute care at Band 7 level, covering rehabilitation and general acute medical/geriatric beds
- Leadership skills and experience of managing a multi-professional therapy team
- Ability to work flexibly and cope with a pressured and unpredictable environment
- Physically fit and able to comply with Trust Manual Handling Guidelines
- Ability to present information, written and orally, in a clear and logical manner
- Competent in relevant standard IT skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the current healthcare environment and national directives
