Senior Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team in Nottingham. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic planning policies for sustainable growth across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategic planning policies.
  • Lead the creation of planning strategies and policies for sustainable growth across the UK.
  • Manage planning applications, appeals, and consultations.
  • Conduct site searches, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to inform planning decisions.
  • Engage with local communities and businesses to foster positive relationships.
  • Provide expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislative changes and trends in urban planning to guide decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a planning role (local government, consultancy, or development industry preferred).
  • A relevant Planning qualification.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with RTPI.
  • Strong understanding of the planning process and legislation.
  • Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills and an approachable manner.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize workloads.
  • A team player with drive, commitment, and enthusiasm.
