About the Role

Citi's Issuer Services legal team is seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to support the business and senior legal team members in responding to litigation, regulatory change, and market developments worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with colleagues in the business and fellow control functions to ensure that deals meet legal criteria and Citi's Responsible Finance requirements.
  • Act as an escalation point for in-business transaction managers to assist with specific legal issues or interpret contractual provisions.
  • Support other colleagues in Issuer Services legal globally, including litigation, defaults, restructurings, and complex issues.
Requirements

You should have experience working as a lawyer in an international legal environment, gained in a large law firm or financial institution. You will be supported by a great group of colleagues in the business and legal who are committed to making you succeed.
