Job Title: Executive Producer, Veritasium

We are seeking an experienced Executive Producer to lead our creative team and drive the success of our YouTube channel, Veritasium. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust content strategy that aligns with our scientific and technical focus and resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a content strategy that showcases our expertise in physics and science education.
  • Collaborate with our team of writers, producers, and researchers to create high-quality, engaging content that meets our high standards.
  • Oversee the production process, from concept development to post-production, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Lead a team of around 10 creatives, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their growth and development.
  • Maintain a rigorous standard of quality, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with our educational goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Master's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience producing high-quality science and technical content, ideally in a documentary-style long-form format.
  • Strong leadership skills and a track record of effectively managing creative teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts in an accessible manner.
  • A deep understanding of YouTube's platform, algorithm, and best practices for maximising visibility and engagement.
