Job Description

The role of a Project Controls Specialist is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of projects. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing the programme and controlling baselines as the baseline manager within the project. This involves ensuring the development of 3-month lookahead schedules aligned to the Cl31 programme and maintaining key date information including access dates, key dates, completion dates, project milestones, and others.

You will also be responsible for developing and defining control accounts aligned with the contract works information, producing and maintaining weekly progress reports, and producing and developing EOT assessments and supporting Commercial with Cost assessments for CE. Additionally, you will maintain contractual obligations with regards to monthly updates to our Accepted Programmes (when under NEC) and provide Commercial teams with resource-loaded forecasts for cash-flow forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have strong planning fundamentals (+5yrs experience as a planner), strong engineering/site experience (+5yrs experience as an engineer/site agent), and strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel. You will also need to have eagerness to learn and experiment with new tools/processes, strong Earned Value fundamentals (ideally accredited with APM), familiarity with Earned Value Management principles including CPI/SPI(t), and strong technical skills with project management software packages (Tilos, P6, Asta).

A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum is offered for this position.
