Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Support Worker to join our team at People Plus Independent Living Services.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our employer, enabling them to maintain an independent and fulfilling life. This will involve assisting with various activities, including domestic tasks, shopping, outdoor activities, and personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as laundry, housework, and meal preparation
  • Support with shopping and outdoor activities
  • Accompany the employer to appointments
  • Assist with leisure activities
  • Support with mobility, personal care, and ensuring the employer's home is clean, hygienic, and safe

Requirements:

  • Experience of providing care and support
  • Consistency and reliability
  • Motivation and a positive attitude
  • Organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Working Hours and Rate of Pay:

Weekend hours working over Saturday and Sunday in the daytime, and evenings, hours to be discussed with employer. £11.44 per hour.
