Inspector and Laboratory Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an Inspector and Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Bodycote plc. As an Inspector and Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting products and analyzing test specimens to ensure compliance with customer specifications and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections to ensure product quality meets customer specifications and international standards
- Analyze test specimens in accordance with customer specifications and international standards
- Maintain laboratory test specimen results database/spreadsheet
- Compile and publish laboratory reports indicating results of test specimens as requested
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve non-conformance trends
- Monitor laboratory data for trends and take proactive measures to prevent non-conformities
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP process requirements
- Liaise with internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Perform internal audits to support the site's quality management system
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring the site's quality management system processes and approvals
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have experience working in a laboratory setting and knowledge of quality assurance procedures. You should also possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
