About the Role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our eRate team as a Solution Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the build, test, and delivery of rating models using the in-house eRate software and other tools and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of eRate change, assisting in deployment and testing in environments
  • Identify potential improvements to eRate and any rating tools, articulating ideas clearly
  • Contribute to regular retrospectives of the delivery of eRate change
  • Ensure the quality of eRate solutions by rigorous testing and reviewing
  • Support the design and delivery of efficient solutions that are aligned to business requirements and eRate principles
  • Oversee that any change or solution meets regulatory guidance
  • Build close relationships with team members and stakeholders to obtain feedback and understand priorities
Requirements
  • Intermediate or higher Excel skills
  • Strong mathematical background, e.g., A Level or Degree level
  • Ability to coordinate solutions to complex technical problems
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes, such as DevOps and SQL
  • Capability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Ability to communicate complex and technical ideas clearly
  • Prior knowledge of the insurance industry is an advantage
