Job Title: Financial Product Controller

At Inventum Group, we are seeking a seasoned Financial Product Controller to join our Fixed Income - Rates team in London.

This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be in the office three days a week. As a Financial Product Controller, you will be responsible for providing an effective link between Front Office and other stakeholders within the wider Finance team, bringing specialist product knowledge into the function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of P&L and decomp reporting to the front office traders, including an analytical review of the risk-based decomposition, comparison of trader flash versus actual and other end of day reports.
  • Ensuring the integrity of the bank's books and records, including reconciliation to bank's ledger systems, attestation of the books and records each month end.
  • Ensuring the wider Product Control team and stakeholders are immediately aware of revaluation issues that may affect downstream activity.
  • Production of analytical reporting to the business and Finance team, in addition to ad-hoc reporting as required by Front Office & senior management.
  • Involvement in key change management projects to deliver improvements to our daily processes.
  • Supporting and providing training to the members of the team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills to deal with senior stakeholders and Front Office members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in financial product control or a related field.
