Clinical Psychologist Lead Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Lead Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating clients with complex psychological problems, including mental ill-health, challenging behaviors, and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat clients with complex psychological problems, including mental ill-health, challenging behaviors, and learning disabilities.
- Develop and implement highly specialized individual treatment plans or packages of care for clients with complex psychological problems.
- Provide clinical supervision and professional support to other clinical psychology staff, including trainee psychologists and undergraduate placement students.
- Contribute to the planning and development of specialist psychology services across the service, including the development of policy and strategies for the delivery of a specialist psychology service.
- Provide teaching and training on psychological work and care for trainee clinical psychologists and qualified members of clinical psychology and other professions.
- Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working with clients with complex psychological problems, including mental ill-health, challenging behaviors, and learning disabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to supervise and support other staff members.
