Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of Year 2 students
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behavior and positive relationships

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
