Aerospace Assembly and Inspection Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our client's team in the aerospace industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and rebuilding complex components using various hand tools and inspection equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and teardown hydraulic LRU's (Line replacement units) returning from the field for repair or overhaul.
  • Perform visual inspections and identify any defective items according to established procedures.
  • Utilize hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, Arbor press, vices, soldering iron, depth micrometres, callipers, lockwire pliers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, flow meters, multi-meters, test boxes or specialized test equipment as needed.
  • Proactively identify and assist in process improvements.
  • Follow procedures and CMM.

Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience in detail manufacturing - assembling complex components.
  • Previous experience in the aerospace industry is essential.

Working Hours:

37 hour week - working core day shift. Overtime is paid at x1 rate.

Estimated Salary: £15,040 per annum based on 37 hours per week.
