Counsellor/Therapist (LGBTQ+ service)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Counsellor/Therapist to deliver counselling services for LGBTQ+ young people in partnership with P3.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse team of practitioners and contribute to the development of Spectra's young people's services.

As a Counsellor/Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering individual and group therapeutic interventions in-person, identifying with the LGBTQ+ community, and having a strong understanding of the mental health support needs of LGBTQ+ young people.

You will support the service in ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery in line with KPIs and outcome frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group therapeutic interventions in-person
  • Identify with the LGBTQ+ community
  • Have a strong understanding of the mental health support needs of LGBTQ+ young people
  • Support the service in ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery

Requirements:

  • Relevant recognised qualifications in the field of therapy, counselling/therapy
  • Accredited or registered member of a professional body
  • Experience of delivering individual and group therapeutic interventions
  • Strong understanding of the mental health support needs of LGBTQ+ young people

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary, pension contribution, and 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata).

Location:

The role will be based on site at P3 Centre, Hillingdon, London, with the possibility of some online work.
