About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controls Software Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for conducting safety analysis using methods like Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Hazard and Operability Study (HazOP). They will ensure that designs comply with relevant automotive safety standards, such as ISO26262.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety analysis and ensure compliance with automotive safety standards.
  • Design vehicle control system architecture, communications systems (CAN, LIN), and safety analysis.
  • Develop and implement software solutions using Matlab, Simulink, C/C++, and PC applications like Visual Studio.
  • Participate in model development, data generation, and analysis for simulation purposes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in software development, particularly in Matlab, Simulink, C/C++, and PC applications like Visual Studio.
  • Experience in simulation, including model development, data generation, and analysis.
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems, including design of vehicle control system architecture, communications systems, and safety analysis.

Working Environment

This business is based in Central Oxfordshire and requires reliable commuting to the office and working onsite with the wider team.
