Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading Waste Management & Energy company to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor for a Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise maintenance activities on site for operations and maintenance departments.
  • Supervise the maintenance team and external contractors.
  • Collaborate with the Permit Office and Maintenance Coordinator to ensure safe plant isolation before maintenance work.
  • Liaise with Shift Team Leaders on emergency maintenance work impacting site operations.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance activities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, Permits to Work, Safe Systems of Work, and conduct risk assessments for safe activity completion.
  • Proven maintenance experience in heavy industry (e.g., MRF, marine engineering, power station, chemical plant, paper mill, refinery, steel works).
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven experience supervising a team.
  • Background leading maintenance on heavy industry process plant and equipment.
  • Proven track record of high performance in a similar or transferable industry.
  • Willingness to work 1 in 6 weekends.
Compensation and Benefits

A basic salary of £45,716, shift allowance of £2,100, bonus, overtime, and benefits package.
