Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Underwriter to join our team. As a Junior Underwriter, you will play a critical role in assessing and managing our clients' loan applications, ensuring that our lending decisions are informed and responsible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate loan applications from a credit management perspective
  • Work closely with our Business Development Managers and brokers to understand client needs and develop effective solutions
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of loans for sanctioning and ensure timely funding in line with Service Level Agreements
  • Collaborate with Senior Underwriters to develop complex cases and enhance your skillset
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in the mortgage or commercial property finance sector
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on results and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
