Job Overview

As a Mental Health Support Worker with Newcross Healthcare, you will provide vital support to individuals with mental health needs, helping them navigate daily life with dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering clinical and social care to meet the unique needs of each individual
  • Assisting clients with daily tasks and activities
  • Managing and responding to challenging behaviours
  • Providing critical support during times of crisis
  • Empowering clients to live as independently as possible

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UK
  • The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility
  • The right to work in the UK
  • This position requires applicants to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
  • Prior experience working with clients who have mental health challenges is preferred but not essential
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle
