Public Health Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Public Health Engineer to join our team at Beeby Anderson Recruitment.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Public Health Engineer to lead and contribute to the success of our projects. As a Public Health Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and supervising assigned projects, establishing client briefs, technical requirements, scope of works, cost plans, and agreeing deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and manage assigned projects, ensuring they are undertaken in accordance with design briefs, budgets, and completion deadlines.
  2. Liaise with the design team to produce sustainable coordinated designs for plumbing, water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems in a variety of buildings.
  3. Produce concept and detailed Public Health design drawings, and prepare specifications, reports, and schedules.
  4. Ensure compliance with British Standards, Building Regulations, CIBSE Guidelines, regulations, and industry standards.
  5. Work as a part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, establishing rapport, maintaining excellent client and project team relationships, and providing a positive contribution to design/project meetings.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in the following systems and their applications in a variety of project settings:

  1. Domestic hot and cold water systems
  2. Grey and rainwater harvesting systems
  3. Above and below ground foul/waste water/drainage
