Public Health Engineer

Beeby Anderson Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Public Health Engineer to join our team. As a Public Health Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and managing projects that ensure the health and safety of building occupants.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Design and Management: Design, manage, and supervise assigned projects, establishing client briefs, technical requirements, scope of works, cost plans, and agreeing deliverables.
  2. Design Team Collaboration: Liaise with the design team to produce sustainable, coordinated designs for plumbing, water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems in various buildings.
  3. Public Health Design: Produce concept and detailed Public Health design drawings, prepare specifications, reports, and schedules.
  4. Site Supervision: Ensure projects are undertaken in accordance with design briefs, budgets, and completion deadlines.
  5. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with British Standards, Building Regulations, CIBSE Guidelines, regulations, and industry standards.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, establish rapport, maintain excellent client and project team relationships, and provide positive contributions to design/project meetings.
Requirements:

You should have extensive experience in the following systems and their applications in various project settings:

  1. Domestic hot and cold water systems
  2. Grey and rainwater harvesting systems
  3. Above and below ground foul/waste water/drainage
