Dedicated Child Care Professional

This is a full-time, permanent position with an ASAP start, offering a competitive salary based on annualised hours for 52.14 weeks per year.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care and support to children residing in the residential primary school with Social, Emotional, Mental Health Needs.
- Ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the children, implementing and following care plans and procedures.
- Supervise and engage children in recreational and educational activities, promoting a safe and nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
- Prior experience working with children in a school/care/after school club setting.
- Understanding of child development and welfare, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team, with basic computer skills and a commitment to children with severe behavioural, social and emotional difficulties.
This role involves working with children and may require evening shifts. The work environment is a residential primary school setting, which may include outdoor activities.
The successful applicant will receive the relevant training and support required to become part of our dedicated and innovative team. You will need to be flexible, working shifts between the hours 07:30 - 21:00, Monday to Friday, term time plus 5 CPD days.
