Poultry Farm Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Poultry Farm Worker. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in poultry farming and contribute to the success of the farm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the farm s operations, assisting in bird care, and managing litter to maintain a clean and healthy environment for the birds. They will also prepare the farm for chick arrivals and manage bird departures, ensuring the farm remains tidy and properly secured.

Job Duties:
  • Support the farm s operations by maintaining animal welfare and production efficiency.
  • Assist in bird care, closely following guidance from the Farm Manager.
  • Manage litter, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for the birds.
  • Prepare the farm for chick arrivals and manage bird departures.
  • Ensure the farm remains tidy and properly secured.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times.
Requirements and Benefits:
  • No previous experience necessary; full training will be provided.
  • A genuine interest in poultry farming and animal welfare.
  • Must have own transportation due to the rural location.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
