About the Role
\We are seeking a dedicated Animal Care Assistant to join our team at the Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. As a key member of our animal care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for animals in our care.
\Job Description
\- Assist with the daily care and well-being of animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising
- Contribute to maintaining accurate animal records and updating care plans as required
- Provide excellent customer service to the public, handling enquiries and promoting Scottish SPCA membership
- Participate in educational tours of the centre and assist with home checks for rehoming animals
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within the animal rescue and rehoming centre
What We Offer
\A competitive salary of £18,500 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting animal welfare
