Job Title: Trainee Civil Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Civil Technician to join our client's team. As a Trainee Civil Technician, you will play a key role in designing roads and sewers, compiling Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies, and working closely with residential developers across the north of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and prepare drainage drawings using AutoCAD
  • Compile Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies
  • Work closely with design teams and provide technical support to project engineers
  • Attend site and client meetings
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field (HNC, HND, or T-Level)
  • Experience with AutoCAD and drainage design software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
