About the Role

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker to support children in a SEN school in Leyland. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with varying needs, including complex needs, non-verbal, and moderate learning difficulties, as well as autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
  • Assist with classroom activities and provide individualized support
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Requirements
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Computer literate
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
