The housekeeping team at Spire Edinburgh has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team.
Job Purpose:
To assist the Head Housekeeping in overseeing the housekeeping service, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hospital, in line with hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Manage key performance indicators to monitor and improve cleaning standards.
- Ensure accurate completion of time sheets and maintain cleaning records.
- Develop and implement quality cleaning services with a focus on infection control.
- Provide induction training to new staff members, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Arrange holiday and sickness cover for the housekeeping team.
- Maintain patient room folders and conduct mattress audits.
- Complete E-Learning modules annually and undertake housekeeping duties as required.
