As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and leading a team of pharmacists. You will be responsible for managing the pharmacy, ensuring accurate payment claims, and providing healthcare advice to customers. You will also be involved in our charity support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and Private services
- Provide healthcare advice to customers and support the Pharmacy Manager in leading, training, and developing colleagues
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries
- Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items
Requirements
- Pharmacy Degree
- Passionate about leading and empowering a team
- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
- DBS check (organised by us) before employment
